Tom Dunlay’s lifelong passion for history and preservation led him to this beautiful 1830s property. He is an avid collector of antiques, with a special interest in historic lanterns and early firefighting equipment, and has a deep appreciation for the stories that old objects and buildings can tell.
Drawn to the rich history of Bailey’s Mills, Tom is proud to take on the role of its steward. He looks forward to sharing his love of the past with guests and is committed to preserving the unique charm of this historic bed and breakfast for years to come.
Originally from Massachusetts, Tom spent many years serving his community as a firefighter and EMT. His career has always been rooted in care, dedication, and public service. He also runs a successful dog walking and boarding business based at the Mill, providing attentive care to pets from both local clients and visiting guests. His loyal black lab, Ember, is not only his companion but also a beloved part of the experience at Bailey’s Mills.
Tom’s wife, Nicole, is a human resources executive and plays a meaningful role in supporting the inn. Her thoughtful influence can be seen in the warm, welcoming feel that defines the guest experience.
